Made for new, raw timber, this nourishing wood butter is an easy-to-apply finish for hand-carved spoons, bowls, chopping boards and other kitchen timber.
Made with pure tung oil, nourishing oils and beeswax, it penetrates the timber to bring out the natural warmth and grain of the wood while creating a water-resistant finish to help protect it from everyday use.
Apply a small amount to clean, dry, unfinished timber with a soft cloth. Allow it to penetrate, then buff away any excess.
As this blend contains tung oil, allow approximately 7–14 days to fully cure before using with food. Cure time may vary depending on temperature, humidity and how heavily it is applied.
Food safe once fully cured.
